Key Responsibilities:

Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Perform financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve financial systems and processes.
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
Minimum of [5] years of experience as an Accountant, with a strong emphasis on month-end close and financial analysis.
Proficiency with Blackbaud software is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in system implementation and process improvement.
Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
