Where would you step in?
As a valuable member of our Water team, you will work on a variety of projects for our New England clients. You may choose to sit in either our Portsmouth,
NH; Portland, ME; Westfield, MA; Westwood, MA; or Providence, RI office and will work in a hybrid office/remote/field model, including flex-time summer
Fridays.
Our Water Team & Projects
Nearly 100 professional engineers strong and recent recipients of multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and
project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients. We provide planning, design, and
construction phase services for the new construction, rehabilitation, and upgrading of water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations. We also
provide structural design and construction phase services for municipal buildings (maintenance facilities, office buildings, and schools), retaining walls,
parking garages, dams and spillways, and bridges.
What will you be doing?
You will play a key role in performing civil, water, and/or wastewater engineering design tasks including development of drawings, specifications, and cost
estimates for bidding and construction. You will also observe construction on municipal infrastructure projects (sewer, storm drain, water, roads) including
identifying contractor conformance with design drawings and specifications, measurement of installed quantities, shop drawing review, coordination with city
staff and residents, and preparation of daily reports.
What do you need?
You will need a BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Having a MS degree, experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation would be a plus. It
would be helpful to have internship or work experience in engineering design, survey, permitting, and/or construction observation.
