2024 Entry-Level Environmental Scientist (Site Assessment and Remediation)

Where would you step in?
You will work with a team of engineers, landscape architects, planners, and environmental professionals on a variety of infrastructure and complex land use
projects . You could sit in either our Westfield, MA; Worcester, MA; Westwood, MA; Middletown, CT; Shelton, CT; Portsmouth, NH; Providence, RI or North
Kingstown, RI offices and work in a hybrid work environment.
Our Environment Team and Projects
Our Environment group is nearly 100 strong throughout our Northeast offices. We cover site assessment, remediation, wetland science, regulatory
compliance, permitting, and other ways we support client work with state and local governments, utilities, private clients, colleges, and hospitals.
What will you be doing?
You will have a mix of environmental site assessment field work that may include due diligence field research, drilling oversight, remedial observation, and
environmental sampling and remediation system monitoring. Office work will include assisting with environmental data review and interpretation and report
writing. You will also be asked to assist with the preparation of environmental work plans, assessment reports, and remedial action plans, which will provide
valuable career experience.
What do you need?
A BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or Engineering, or a related field. You also need a valid driver?s license, a good driving record, and your
own transportation. Experience performing field work, writing reports, and your OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification.
