Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Press Operator to join their team. As a Printing Press Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing machinery to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of printed materials.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain printing press machinery, including flexographic presses.
Set up printing presses according to job specifications, including adjusting settings, ink distribution, and pressure to achieve the desired print quality.
Monitor and inspect printed products for quality, adjusting as necessary to maintain high standards of production.
Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.
Complete product reports and Quality Assurance sheets for each job.
Notify Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities.
Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work in-process and/or finished product.
Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Printing Press Operator or similar role in a printing environment.
Knowledge of printing press operations, including setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude
