Job Summary:

We are a leading distribution company specializing in providing top-quality building materials to construction professionals and contractors. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. Essential Functions:

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse and distribution center.
Load and unload trucks, staging materials in the appropriate areas, and accurately document inbound and outbound shipments.
Assist in inventory control by performing cycle counts, tracking stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and organization of materials.
Verify the accuracy of orders, inspect materials for damage, and help ensure the quality of products leaving the facility.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment, report any issues, and ensure that equipment is in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Report any safety issues or concerns immediately.

Job Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid Forklift Operator Certification.
1-2 years' experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center.
Strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Knowledge of inventory management and tracking systems is a plus.
Familiarity with building materials is a bonus but not required.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
Ability to stand and lift for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions when loading/unloading trucks.

Additional Information
Monday - Friday, 6am - 3pm
