This role is central to strengthening corporate alliances within QCC's designated catchment area and showcasing the diverse collaboration avenues available at QCC to the broader community. The Corporate Development Specialist at QCC drives the formation of key partnerships and tailored educational strategies to meet our corporate partners' specific needs. Their primary duties encompass refining and growing our offerings at the Center for Workforce Development & Continuing Education, ensuring they resonate with customer needs. They are instrumental in devising customized training initiatives aligned with our partners' specified requirements. This is a remote position, and the Corporate Development Specialist will be expected to spend a majority of their time in the field in order to ensure market awareness and meet revenue expectations.
4 or more years of experience in business development, consultative selling and/or strategic partnership development with a record of high performance in solution selling across multiple industry verticals.
Knowledge and use of CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Constant Contact and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of the Massachusetts Workforce Training fund.

plan and play an active role in QCC-centric events, from initial outreach to post-event follow-ups, ensuring maximum engagement and impact. Demonstrate appropriate time management and ability to work independently in extending the vision, strategies and activities required for profitable and on-going partner engagement and implementation across all QCC areas.
Maintain timely, accurate and thorough documentation of all activities, tasks, contacts and account management.
Contribute to team success including planning, organizing, developing work processes, identifying and implementing improvements, and leading team/department projects.
Effectively handle complex work initiatives including but not limited to assisting with securing corporate grant partners, delivering capabilities presentations to a variety of internal & external constituents, negotiating and preparing contract training proposals, assisting with training needs assessments and identifying and recruiting technical and non-technical subject matter experts for training engagements.
Stay abreast of local and national labor trends, emerging educational tech, shifts in higher education, and available state and federal employer resources.
Foster a collaborative spirit, encouraging knowledge sharing and inter-departmental cooperation Consistently meet and surpass personal and departmental revenue targets.
