Agency with Choice Support Staff

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Perform a variety of home and/or community based direct care duties to support individuals with autism and to promote their dignity, safety, health, welfare, rights, development and social inclusion; provide transportation to individuals.

POSITION AVAILABILITY: Reliable support person needed in Longmeadow area to assist a young man with intellectual disabilities with activities of daily living, skill building and community outings. Consistent attendance and good communication skills required. Must have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.

HOURLY RATE: $22

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years or older
Valid Massachusetts driver's license
Reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED
Two supervisory references.
Driving record and CORI and Fingerprint check
