Summary of Position:

Pathlight is an organization that has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities in Western Massachusetts communities since 1952. Our Agency with Choice program services adults with disabilities through support that reflects the goals of independence, self-advocacy, agency, and self-expression. For this position we are looking for an experienced professional to assist a young adult with developmental disabilities in building their independence and fulfilling their goals.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Facilitating community integration
cultivating socialization
developing independence in areas of activities of daily living
Perform some personal care duties

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Previous knowledge and experience working with individuals with disabilities
Over 1 year up to and including 3 years working with children/adults with autism
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities

Required Qualifications:

Requires valid driver's license and reliable transportation/vehicle.
Fluent in Spanish

Pay: $18.00 per Hour
