Position Description/Minimum Qualifications *

- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for alarm and security system installations based on client needs and project specifications.
- Review project documents, blueprints, and site specifications to understand scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to refine estimates and ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Research and analyze material, labor, and other associated costs to determine competitive pricing.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to get accurate pricing on materials and equipment.
- Present estimation findings and pricing proposals to management and clients.
- Maintain and update estimating and project costing documentation.

Special Skills

- Proven experience as an estimator, ideally within the alarm or security industry.
- Strong understanding of alarm and security systems, installation processes, and associated costs.
- Excellent analytical and math skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, suppliers, and clients.

Computer Skills Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
